This guide provides no television content of any kind. It supplies no channels, no playlists, no streams, no electronic programme guide data and no provider accounts, and it contains no list of where to obtain any of those. It is documentation: it explains how to configure and run a set of community-built Dispatcharr plugins against the lineup that already exists in your Dispatcharr installation.

The plugins described here work on data you already have. They read and rewrite channel names, match stream entries to channels, assign electronic programme guide entries, and set channel visibility, all within your own installation. Most of that work reads names rather than the streams themselves.

A few of the documented actions do connect to streams, and every one of them is something you trigger. IPTV Checker probes stream URLs already configured in your installation to find out which are dead, and its optional blank-screen, frozen-video and silent-audio checks decode a few seconds of video to judge whether a stream is watchable. Stream-Mapparr's Probe Stream Throughput connects to configured stream URLs and reads a few seconds of data to measure delivery speed. These actions measure. They do not record, store, restream or redistribute anything, and what they read is discarded. Nothing is fetched unless you run those actions.

Emailed reports, where a plugin offers them, are handed to the Newsflasharr plugin, which sends them to destinations you configured.

You are responsible for what you connect Dispatcharr to. Whether a particular provider, subscription, playlist or stream is lawful for you to use depends on your agreement with that provider and on the law where you live. Use only sources you are authorised to use. Nothing in this guide is intended to enable, encourage or assist access to content you have no right to access.
